WILLEM P{ETRUS DE BEER's SON IN AUSTRALIA

My grand father, Karel Johannes de Beer's brother, Willem Petrus de Beer's grandson lives in Australia.  We will soon publish more3 information about his family history...He already commented on my remembrances of his father (Boet) in previous Blog publications.

    Hi Dr Karel

    I am living in Auckland New Zealand, not Australia. I have read all your post re. the family, very interesting. I am a bit confused when it comes to my grandfather, Oupa Willie. His father Barend must have been quite old when he was born, my calculations 58 years old. I am married to Debbie, nee Harvey from Vryburg. I delved into her family past and found a Johanna de Beer who married into her family. She was from De Beershalte, a farm near Vryburg. I have 2 daughter, Mandy and Chantelle, both in New Zealand. Mandy is a commercial pilot studying in Invercargill and Chantelle lived in Auckland and has 3 children, Dean Willem Baker, Kiera Baker and Miah Baker.
